Hygiene and safety
All FINESTFOG humidifiers and water purifiers are CE marked and VDE tested. They comply with VDI 6022 hygiene standards for air conditioning equipment. FINESTFOG high-pressure atomizers are certified to standards.
The Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik Hamburg mbH (GBA) assesses FINESTFOG air humidifier systems in the field. GBA employees make on-site assessments at locations where FINESTFOG systems are installed. Since April 2004, a long-term study has assessed humidifier water at a textile company in Chemnitz, Germany. In the course of 5½ years, water samples have been taken and tested 32 times.
The results confirm the success of FINESTFOG efforts to develop and produce hygienically impeccable systems (see certificate).
In 2009, another long-term test was started at a company producing food packaging in Düren, Germany.
