Air humidification in the wood industry

Wood is a hygroscopic natural material. The process characteristic is depended to the surrounding air. As lower the humidity is as lower the wood humidity.  Declines the relative humidity under 50% wood is suffering with shrinking, cracks and twisting. Especially veneer and chipboard are exposed. Also solid wood can get harmed. 

Smoothly processing of the natural material is to be achieved by using air humidification. Setting the humiditiy to a controlled target the FINESTFOG air humidification enables the wood to acclimatize to the production requirements. Beside of the production also in the timber storage and in the drying process a constant humidity of 50-60% rH is needed. 

Healthy air humidification also reduces dust exposure and therefore improves the quality of the breathable air.
